Regretregret,
is like a hangman's noose
it follows you around
overshadowing your day,
as if,
doomsday,
was coming

it reminds you
and goads you
about everything
you want to take  back

regret,
makes you long for the past.
regret,
can make you live in the past.
Mirrorslooking into the mirror,
do you recognize the person you see?
is the person staring back at you,
a stranger?

i think,
you've lost yourself.
you look into the mirror,
and lie.

you tell yourself,
you haven't changed.
your eyes scan over the person you see,
judging this stranger.

i reminisce, about the past.
i miss, who you used to be.
Lostit feels like,
i'm running around,
in an endless maze
lost, trying to find
the way out.

as if,
i were a dog chasing
it's nonexistent tail.

i'm going round in circles.
looking for someone,
that i don't know.

i've completely lost myself.
Hopehope
is like a bubble.

it protects you from the detrimental,
keeps you happy
as you float higher and higher,
nearer and nearer,
to the feeling of ecstasy

until
you're so very close
and the bubble pops.
like everything else
that's worth living for.

hope,
like all other things
has a habit of popping
and the higher you float
the harder you'll fall

hope,
reminds you,
nothing, lasts forever.
Lose Yourselfsome people,
try to make everyone else proud.
some people,
spend their lives
trying to get noticed.

day after day,
they spend their lives
thinking,
about how everyone else will see it.

some people,
lose themselves.
while trying
to find themselves.

hahaha you should, it's not that hard.
as long as you know how to use the pen tool pretty well and you're creative you should be fine (:
